We are going to see a very simple scenario using basic features.
Select [Edit]-[Station] from the main menu. [Station Information] dialog box opens. Press <Add> button, add stations as you want, and then modify station names and distances.
Select [Setting]-[Automatic Train Addition]-[Train]. Specify Time to Run and Stop Time for both down and up. When you add a seconds value, add [-] between minutes and seconds like [1-15]. When there is a span with passed stations, select the first and last stops including passed stations, and press <Passage> button.
To add a new train, confirm if the timetable page is shown, and select [Edit]-[Train]-[Add] from the main menu. When you modify train settings such as train ID, click on a train and select [Edit]-[Train]-[Modify]. To add a time, just input a number. Any number with 3 digits or 4 digits is recognized as time without seconds. 5 digits means time with seconds. For example, [1132] indicates 11H32M, [113215] indicates 11H32M15S. When you want to specify both arrival and departure times, select an option to display arrival times on Station Information dialog box.
Click on a train, and select [Edit]-[Train]-[Sort]-[Forward] or [Edit]-[Train]-[Sort]-[Backward]. You can change the sequence of the train on the timetable.
You can display the diagram by selecting a page on tab control.
Specify train type to be added after selecting [Setting]-[Diagram] from the main menu. And then, click on the diagram some times, keeping Ctrl and Shift keys pressed. A train will be added. If you select [Edit]-[Diagram]-[Automatic Train Addition] beforehand, you can add a train referring to the time to run and stop time information specified on automatic train addition setting. To terminate train addition, double click on the diagram.
When you select a train by mouse, blue selection boxes are shown at all stops, and red boxes at selected stops. You can modify the time of selected stop by pressing up or down arrow, or drag by mouse. To specify arrival and departure time individually, select one stop and right click, and select [Station]-[Time Setting] from the context menu. If it's difficult to select a specific train due to the complexity of the diagram, it would be better to hide the other trains by selecting [Train]-[View]-[Selected Train Only].
The contents of the timetable is totally linked to the diagram. You can see the modification result of one page on the other page.
