Australian billionaire's heir Peter Holmes Court has revealed his toddler son has been 'found' in Africa after he earlier launched a mysterious manhunt for the child. But in a surprise twist, the boy's mother, Mr Holmes a Court's wifeAlissa Everett, insists her son, Jaden, was never actually missing in the first place. Mr Holmes Court, 56, is Russell Crowe's ex-business partner who invested with him in South Sydney NRL club in 2006, and the older brother of Teals MP backer, Simon Holmes Court, 53. He now lives in Nairobi in Kenya with wife Alissa and their four-and-a-half-year-old son, where they run a network of hotels and event spaces called Afrika House. But Mr Holmes Court this week launched a huge search campaign for Jaden, putting his picture on posters around Nairobi and online, begging for help to find him. The posters said the child waslast seen in Shela Village in Lamu County, along with contact numbers - including Mr Holmes Court's personal number - to get in touch. On Tuesday,Mr Holmes Court confirmed to Daily Mail Australia that his son had now been 'found' but would not go into detail about the boys 'disappearance'. However, hours later, his American wife, a photographer and humanitarian, told Daily Mail Australia her son had never been missing. 'He is safely with me.' Locals have suggested Ms Everett was on holiday with her son in the Lamu area, amid rumours of problems in their marriage, at the time the alert was sounded. The couple were previously hit by tragedy when justdays before their scheduled wedding in Botswana in 2014, the couple were involved in a fatal collision, along with dozens of friends and relatives The group were aboard a tourist tram at Zimbabwe's Victoria Falls when a freight train ignored a stop sign and rammed them from behind, leaving one dead and 20 injured. Will Poovey, an American father of two, was flown to South Africa for treatment but did not survive the freak accident. Born into extreme wealth, Peter is the first son of Robert and Janet Holmes a Court, he attended the illustrious Geelong Grammar School and Oxford University. His late father, was born in South Africa before coming to Australia and becoming the country's first billionaire through investments in resources and media. Robert's death left his wife Janet one third of the family fortune with the four children sharing the rest. The amount Peter reportedly received was $35 million. He famously sold his 37.5 per cent share in the premier team to billionaire businessman James Packer for an undisclosed amount. The couple have lived in Kenya for a number of years after increasingl spending more time in Africa a decade ago. As well as Afrika House,Ms Everett runs the charity Exposing Hope to bring attention to the harsh conditions faced by war victims and refugees.
