This Thornton 131 has the slider which is equal length with the body. Therefore, the metal "claw" sticks out. The "claw" has a rounded head and short stem which has pair of reading marks. I would assume that this part is prone to damage, and for that reason, they changed to a shorter slider design for later models. |
