This rule came with a separate piece of data sheet on which "John Davis & Son" was printed as well as the original owner's name. This rule also has D&P imprinted in the well. From these observations, we can conclude that this rule was manufactured by Dennert & Pepe for John Davis & Son. Also there is 08 inscribed in the well, suggesting the year of manufacture to be 1908. But, is this cursor authentic? |
