This rule is a five inch "extra fine" rule with the same number of tick marks as a ten inch rule. The magnifying lens which normally accompanies with the extra fine rules is missing for this specimen.
There is an inscription "Type Year 30" on the back of the cursor, suggesting it was manufactured in 1930 or shortly later.
