This is Concise's own version of "Circular rule in a Rectangle" design.
There are subtle differences between Sama and this Concise models, perhaps out of the copyright considerations.
The number of scales are fewer in this model. The method to pull out the card are different. In Sama model, you use thumb to pull out the card, whereas you would push the other side first and pull in Concise model. The "star" marks are imprinted on both the body and the card to facilitate the correct orientation of the card for Sama model. The names of Tables are imprinted on the body for Concise model, thus limiting flexibility.
