Three Ponds Park is one of the many municipal parks in Yokohama and, like many other parks, features cherry trees which blossom in the Spring. Also, as the name implies, it has three ponds. We, a group of senior citizens, visited the park at the end of March expecting to view cherry flowers in full bloom. Contrary to the blossom forecast a few weeks earlier, they were only partially in bloom. However, we were able to enjoy some trees in full bloom. We also visited a renovated house of a village headman of Edo era. |
