About this area

Although Tokyo is largely occupied by business districts with large buildings, you can still find a lot of "Old Tokyo." This particular area is called "Ya_ne_sen": short for Yatani, Nezu and Sendagi which are the three local districts around here. It has a lot of temples and shrines, small shops and gems of small museums. It is located at some 5Km northeast of the Imperial Palace. You can cover the entire area on foot from the Nippori JR train station.
