Kamikochi Heights

This May(2001), I visited Shinsyu area with my family. Among other places I visited, here are some pictures of Kamichochi.

Kamikochi was discovered and developed as summer resort by Weston, an English mountain crimber.

Situated in the middle of Northern Japan Alps, and at an elevation of 1,500 meters, one can enjoy breathtaking views of mountains such as Yakidake or Hodaka mountain range.
