 Hexomino is generally defined as a figure consisting of six squares.  (See fig1)

Hexomino can be studied from various points of views.

 You can find 35 different kinds of Hexomino including the figures in fig.1.


 Hexomino-Puzzle is generally defined as a puzzle toy consisting of all 35

 kinds of pieces to make up a rectangular with a square sticking out of the top

 in the center. (See fig.2)  A Japanese company, TENYO sells this toy.

   You can find not less than a few hundred million kinds of varieties.

This is by far more complicated and difficult than a well-prevailed Pentomino-Puzzle.

You can enjoy making puzzles showing various kinds of figures.

These puzzles keep us entertained and never bored.   (See fig.3)        

  We would like to introduce Hexominof s following points:

1.   Hexomino exhibits fun with pictures, puzzles and mathematically interesting figures etc.

2.   The examination of transformation to increase the variety of the puzzlefs view.

3.   Various topics concerning Hexomino in the field of mathematics.
