About myself
My name is Toshiro Masai. I live in Akashi-city, Hyogo prefecture, western Japan. I was born in the 20th
century.I became interested in mushrooms about 30 years ago, and began collecting and taking pictures of
them. I became even more interested in mushrooms afterI joined Yokin Mycological Club and Kansai Mycological
Club in 1998. Among many mushrooms, I am most interested in boletes and amanitas because they are large and
conspicuous in general and there seem to be a lot of unknown species.
