Coments:
Survey was conducted from Sep. 5 to Sep 22, 2013
Except 3 Days(7, 13,14 Sep), which had heavy rain or/and fog, survey started at 6:00 and finished at 16:00.
Total 3,784 raptors were counted and the major species were Chinese sparrowhawks, consisting 3486 individual birds during the survey.
Chinese sparrowhawks showed two peaks, which were at Sep 10th and 16th,showing  1164, 1369 birds respectively. 
Most of the Chinese sparrowhawks flew from North, Northwest and West, and Headed South, assuming that they headed to Tsushima Island, Japan.
some species, especially Oriental Honey Buzzards, flew from south, and headed North Directly.

Coments
:
This survey was done from Septemer 24th to October 3th, at a parasitic volcano, Geum-ak Oreum(or Geum Oreum), mainly targeting migrating Oriental Honey Buzzards heading to mainland China.

Pinskers Hawk-eagle (Southern Hawk-eagle) were seen in Digos (2 individuals) : endemic
Philippine Serpent Eagle was seen in Digos (1 individual): endemic
On 22 October: Peter Simpson watched at Digos Hill from 9 to 12 am & during this period he saw 86 GFB and 1 Chinese Sparrowhawk;
while Alex, Tere & Felix watched at Baracatan (Mt. Talumo) from 8am to 3pm; Oct 22 is a combined count for the 2 sites.



Malaysia

 30 Oct  Bkt Tengkorak  N4.43877, E118.61964  1 Unid. accipiter seen north of observation point at 0950hrs.
It was flying very high and heading west from Pulau Bum Bum towards the mainland. 
 31  Bkt Tengkorak  N4.43877, E118.61964  1 Unid. accipiter seen at 0940hrs with 60x scope.
It flew in from 080º (east) over Pulau Bum Bum and crossed far south of the observation point.
 1 Nov  Tun Sankaran Marine Park  -  1 Unid. medium-sized raptor seen in the distance at c1000hrs from boat while on the way to Boheydulang Island.
Raptor was flying low over the water towards the mainland, far north of Semporna.
 2  Kg. Pangkalangan  N4.37155, E118.56071  0 Location is south of Semporna.
Observed from coastal village with open sea views from NE to SW. Drizzle throughout the day.
 3  Bkt Tengkorak  N4.43877, E118.61964  0 Returned to Bkt Tengkorak for another watching session.
